In 2009, Liverpool Biennial held a special exhibition, on an old wharf at Bankhall, as part of a major project to kickstart regeneration. A news letter was published before the exhibition, with a follow-

on it, you could hear a story, telling the history of the wharf (with a bit of artistic licence).
The idea of the exhibition was to breathe some life back into this part of the city. Unfortunately, it occurred just as the country headed into a deep recession, so nothing came of it.
The last picture in the slide show is at Carolina Street Basin (a little further North). It is intended to represent an astronomical observatory.
