This Map shows the layout of the canal as it winds its way through Sefton and Liverpool. Scroll down to see Liverpool.
To emphasize the canal, railways and minor routes have been omitted from the map. However, the small boxes with numbers in show the locations of bridges over the canal. If you click on one of those boxes, it leads to a page about that bridge, including a link to Google maps. You can also find parking and access information.
The different coloured blocks are the historical political divisions of the canal’s environs. Note that these are not up to date although the boundaries have not changed much in 240 years.
